Motorcyclist dies in collision

A motorcyclist died Wednesday night when he tried to avoid hitting a car near Bonners Ferry. The driver of the car was making a left turn when he noticed a motorcycle approaching, and then swerved back into his own lane and came to a stop. Daniel Krmpotich, 52, laid down his motorcycle and struck the drivers side of the car. Attempts to revive Krmpotich were unsuccessful. The driver, 20 year old Oly Morris was arrested on a charge of vehicular manslaughter. - Full Story
