Idaho Attorney Gen. Gets Responses from Oil Companies Regarding Gas Prices

Gas prices are dropping in Idaho, but we're still one of the highest in the nation. Last month, the Attorney General's office sent letters to five major oil refiners in Salt Lake City, asking why Idahoans were paying more for gas than other states in the West. Over the past week, the AG's office has received responses back from those companies, responses they say are cause for concern. $2.52 here. $2.47 there. There's no doubt about it, Idahoans are paying less for gas than they were a week ago. In fact, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in the Gem State is $2.64, but that's still 35 cents more than the national average. - Full Story
