Lettuce Recall Issued

A popular brand of lettuce grown in California's Salinas Valley is being recalled over concerns of E. coli contamination. The voluntary recall of green leaf lettuce was announced today by Salinas-based Nunes Company Incorporated. The lettuce is sold under the Foxy brand name. The move comes less than a week after the FDA lifted its warning on fresh spinach grown in the region. - Full Story
