Sheriff's office says Duncan acted alone

A man who pleaded guilty to murdering three people at a rural Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, home has given law enforcement officers enough information to confirm their conclusion that he acted alone, the Kootenai County, Idaho, sheriff's office said Monday. Making good on last week's plea agreement with Kootenai County prosecutors, Joseph Edward Duncan III met Friday with investigators. "In the interview, Duncan gave investigators detailed information that was consistent with the physical evidence that had been collected at the scene of the murders of Brenda and Slade Groene and Mark McKenzie," Sheriff Rocky Watson said in a statement. - Full Story
