Idaho signs $3 million contract with Qwest

Idaho has signed a contract worth three (M) million dollars with Qwest to provide the state with long-distance services for the next three years. The Denver-based company, currently the state's local voice communication provider, has the possibility of two one-year extensions. Tom Richards, the executive vice president for Qwest's business markets group, says "We are excited to now extend the relationship to provide long-distance services as well." According to terms of the contract, Qwest will be providing long-distance services such as toll-free calling and calling card services. Qwest provides communications services for more than 10,000 local governments and schools across the United States. - Full Story
