New Avista rates effective today

A 2 percent decrease in Avista Utilities' natural gas rates and a less than 1 percent increase in its electric rates were approved by the Idaho Public Utilities Commission. Both rate adjustments become effective today. Avista, headquartered in Spokane, has an estimated 68,000 natural gas customers in Idaho and about 110,000 electric customers. - Full Story
