Ag department brings experts to review milfoil program

The Idaho Department of Agriculture is calling on some experts to help with the state's Eurasian milfoil problem. Officials say the independent experts will assess the state's water milfoil eradication efforts. The noxious weed has invaded some of Idaho's lakes and rivers, harming fish habitat and posing a danger to swimmers and boaters. The independent experts will try to find areas where Idaho's milfoil control program has succeeded, and suggest ways to increase the effectiveness and minimize the cost of the program. - Full Story
