Idaho soldier laid to rest in Buhl

An Idaho soldier killed by enemy small-arms fire in Baghdad earlier this month will be buried today in his home town of Buhl. Twenty-two-year-old James Lee "Doug" Bridges was killed November 4th while on a patrol. He was an infantryman with the 2nd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment of the 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat team based at Fort Wainwright in Alaska. After services this afternoon at the Seventh Street Gym in Buhl, Bridge's flag-draped coffin will be pulled by a mule-drawn wagon through the small farming community in southern Idaho. - Full Story
