Microsoft offerings $3 software package for studentsThursday, April 19, 2007; KTVBA package of Microsoft software for three bucks? The company says it's offering the deal to students using government-subsidized computers around the world. The package will include Windows XP Starter Edition, Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007. Microsoft also says it opening another 90 "innovation centers" in addition to 110 around the world that offer classes and access to technology for academics and start-up software companies.
