Idaho guards for Tom Hanks can keep guns

A Blaine County judge has ruled he has no authority to stop guards employed by actor Tom Hanks from carrying guns while accompanying inspectors at the star's sprawling compound north of the central Idaho resort town of Ketchum. "I have no authority over who wears a gun or who doesn't," 5th District Court Judge Robert J. Elgee said Wednesday. "I don't want it to look like the Wild West out there, but I have no authority over that." Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, have accused Storey Construction Inc. of shoddy workmanship in the building of the $10 million house and three cottages on the property in 2002. - Full Story
